Ihara uses plots of soil from the Show Rural Coopavel Winter Edition park as a testing ground to show the efficiency of a new pre-emergent for wheat. It is Yamato, a new molecule that arrives and presents itself to the market as an option for combating weeds that harm the development and performance of areas cultivated with the cereal.

“Yamato is a new and efficient tool against powerful wheat enemies. And the results are very good”, informs Ihara’s technical sales administrator, Rafael Scapini de Oliveira. In a specially produced video chapter that has just gone live on the event's social media channels, it is possible to observe the pre-emergent's performance in practice.

Ihara technicians prepared plots with and without the application of Yamato. “The result is high performance in controlling ryegrass, a considerable reduction in oats and a 60% reduction in turnip, all weeds that are difficult to combat”, according to Rafael.

This new formulation, the result of years of tests and investments, appears to contribute to further strengthening wheat cultivation and results, an activity that is expected to grow a lot in Brazil in the coming years, according to Rafael. The Yamato is a new launch and its reception is surprising, according to Ihara's technical sales administrator.
