Ihara has just launched its first Trunemco bionematicicide, which adds sustainability and greater efficiency to the control of soil nematodes, one of the main challenges faced by farmers around the world. With an FS formulation compatible with other treatments, in addition to having a greater spectrum, it provides greater productivity and greater practicality and performance due to the low application dosage.

The new biological developed by Ihara has a formulation composed of a CEPA that was selected and developed to combat and repel nematodes, offering even greater protection for the roots and, consequently, better plant development. “Trunemco’s formulation is unique in the country. It combines special strains of bacilli; more “aggressive” against targets, more resistant and more tolerant. Furthermore, it has the broadest leaflet recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture in this bionematicides market, which means proven efficacy against a greater number of targets, in different crops”, explains the coordinator of Biological Products at Ihara, Iuri Cosin.

Another important difference recorded in the Trunemco leaflet is the low dose required of this formulation for seed treatment. “Optimizing the ‘occupancy’ of the spray volume is a great advantage for the producer because it ensures that he can also count on other important assets in this process such as fungicides and insecticides”, recalls Cosin.

Its formulation is 100% compatible with fungicides, insecticides and even chemical nematicides available on the market for seed treatment, synergistically complementing this phase of integrated pest management.

“Other strengths of Trunemco are its very long shelf life (two years) and it does not require special refrigeration, storage or transport care. These are characteristics that make it much easier for the producer”, adds the specialist.
