IHARA, a research and development company specialized in agricultural pesticides, is launching new generations of outstanding products from its portfolio onto the market, with an even more innovative formulation, making them more robust and efficient in protecting crops.

IHARA Herbicides Manager, Daniel Zanetti explains that the improved products now have the suffix HT (High Technology), indicating the new formulation with cutting-edge technology. “We work towards continuous improvement, in the certainty that nothing is so good that it cannot be improved. Each product in the HT family brings a different factor of evolution over its own original formulation, over what the market offers and most importantly, meeting the farmer’s demands.”

One of the High Technology launches is the SONDA HT; the evolution of a success that is still recent on the market. Its predecessor, SONDA, was launched just two years ago, with a hitherto unprecedented technology for controlling weeds in corn crops and capable of offering post and pre-emergent effects. The incorporation of HT in this product went through a rigorous study process to arrive at the perfect combination of compounds to obtain more efficient management of weeds. Furthermore, this innovative solution brings other benefits to the farmer, as it now eliminates the need to add oil to the spray mixture. “The result is more savings and efficiency for the producer. With Sonda HT it is possible to reduce logistics, storage space and packaging return costs. Furthermore, by eliminating the need for handling and handling for mixing, it optimizes process time and minimizes any possibility of error in the operation”, says Zanetti.

Another IHARA launch that hits the market is TARGA MAX HT, a reformulation of the emerging post graminicide TARGA MAX, intended for different crops. Incorporated into the HT generation, the new formula stands out for bringing double the concentration of the active ingredient, allowing the dose required per application to be reduced by half. The change brings among the main benefits to the industry and the farmer, savings in logistics movement and storage costs, provided by the reduction in volume and packaging disposal. “IHARA makes great efforts to develop solutions that bring more efficiency to crops with much more sustainability throughout the entire production process. Reduction of packaging, labels, boxes, transportation and storage are examples of important factors that can be worked on in this line. And they are an important part of this constant search for cutting-edge technology, which translates into the HT concept”, says Zanetti.

Brazil is one of the world references in reverse logistics for packaging pesticides. Since 2002, more than 680 thousand tons of packaging have been correctly disposed of and IHARA supports InpEV-- National Institute of Empty Packaging Processing, intelligence nucleus of the Campo Limpo System, which brings together all links in the agricultural chain in the search for a world more sustainable.
