Ihara launched two solutions for controlling the main pests and diseases of soybean crops: Terminus, an insecticide for controlling bedbugs, and Sugoy, a fungicide for controlling rust, target spot, anthracnose and powdery mildew.

Check out the video below for more details about the new Ihara products with the Insecticide Product Manager, Marco Antonio Pereira Jr; and Fungicide Product Manager, Archimedes Chiarelli Nishida. We also spoke with Ihara's Marketing Director, André Nannetti.

Terminus is an insecticide that works to control brown and green-bellied bugs in soybean and corn crops. The product enhances the control of stink bugs, resulting in greater grain quality due to immediate control, long residual and flexibility of use. It can also be used at any time during the crop cycle, eliminating bedbugs from the beginning of incidence. Terminus, therefore, allows the producer to begin control as early as the first colonizations, thus managing to maintain the incidence at very low levels or even zero.

“The technology achieved by Ihara in the Terminus formulation provides better rapid shock performance (known as “Knock down”), combating the target immediately, and presents consistent performance regardless of conditions and climate. This is one of the product’s strengths”, explains Ihara’s Regional Marketing Manager, Roberto Rodrigues.

Sugoy fungicide is a systemic and contact product indicated for the management of rust, target spot, anthracnose and powdery mildew in soybean crops. According to Ihara's Regional Marketing Manager, Roberto Rodrigues, Sugoy guarantees simultaneous control of the crop's main foliar diseases in a more practical and effective way. “In addition to broad and effective control, this unique solution brings a series of other advances in practical application, reduction of errors in syrup preparation, among many other advantages that will directly result in the productivity and profitability of cultivation.”

He also highlights that Sugoy is the technological solution with the broadest spectrum of targets registered for soybeans on the national market. “Another very important factor is that it also includes a protector in its formulation, something that the market has never seen and which contributes even more to resistance management”, he adds.
