One of the biggest negative impacts on productivity in sugarcane fields is the damage caused by weeds, which can reach up to 85% in ratoon crops and up to 100% in sugarcane. To help producers and plants manage this problem more efficiently, Ihara, a company specializing in technologies and pesticides for crop protection, brings innovative solutions to the 19th edition of Herbishow, the main event on weed control in sugarcane . Held in a 100% virtual environment, the fair's actions take place on September 02nd, starting at 07am.

During that day, the company will have a virtual stand on the event website, where visitors can check out the brand's product portfolio: Magneto, for the control of the main large-seeded weeds in sugar cane: Mamona, Merremia , Mucuna and Melão de São Caetano and Flumyzin, a long residual product that can be applied in different ways of use such as post-planting, loin break, semi-dry and dry ratoon, semi-humid and wet ratoon, carriers and borders, desiccation and recently used in MPB.

"Our proximity to the producer, plants and main researchers and market consultants allows us to develop products that meet what is needed to face the main challenges in the field. We are living in a unique moment and, in this period, we have to take advantage of the tools that technology provides us with to remain close to the producer and the plants and, thus, be able to contribute to better management of weeds in sugarcane cultivation.", says Gustavo Canato, sugarcane marketing manager at Ihara.

As part of the event's schedule, at 9:30 am, Ihara will promote the lecture "Protect sugarcane productivity with innovative Ihara solutions for weed management", with Prof. Dr. Pedro Christoffoleti.
