The International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA), a global entity that represents the flower, fruit and vegetable sector, releases a document with analyzes and impacts of heavy rains on FV production.

According to an IFPA report, even production in greenhouses has been affected by low light and high humidity. The greater incidence of rain will lead to a reduction in the supply of tomatoes and vegetables in general, for example, at least until May this year.
