Gross Value of Agricultural Production in 2022 is estimated at R$ 1,2 trillion
The growth in the value of crops was 10,3% and livestock production fell by 8,6%
ICL, a company that uses its exclusive resources and technological capacity to develop impactful solutions in plant nutrition and physiology, presents at the 32nd official Opening of the Rice and Grains Harvest in Terras Baixas 2022, which takes place from February 16th to 18th, in Capão do Leão, in Rio Grande do Sul, specific technologies for the crop and results of tests carried out in partnership with the main universities in the State with increases of up to 17 more bags of productivity per hectare.
One of them, which aimed to evaluate the agronomic efficiency of using Tônus and Concorde in irrigated rice cultivation, brought a result of 9 more bags per hectare. Tone provides Zinc (Zn) and Molybdenum (Mo), acts on hormonal balance, reduces ethylene biosynthesis and contributes to increasing the efficiency of Nitrogen use. Concorde increases plant metabolism, brings rapid post-stress recovery, reduces phytotoxicity and increases the setting of flowers and fruits.
Another research, which aimed to evaluate the agronomic efficiency of using Concorde and Translok in irrigated rice cultivation, brought gains of 12 more bags per hectare. Translok assists in the translocation of photoassimilates and grain filling and reduces stress, ensuring more energy for the plants.
Another research to be shown to those who visit the event and which aimed to evaluate the agronomic efficiency of using Sulfurgran B-MAX 2% in irrigated rice cultivation brought 17 bags more productivity per hectare. The product provides gradual release of Sulfur (S) and Boron (B), improving crop nutrition. This technology, in addition to providing S and B in a single application, guarantees high operational yield, minimizes leaching losses and provides greater crop productivity.
Field tests that aimed to evaluate the agronomic efficiency of using Polyblen Arroz Plante Mais in irrigated rice cultivation brought 11,8 more bags per hectare. Registered with MAPA as a gradual release fertilizer, it brings operational ease and well-nourished plants, adequately providing nitrogen throughout the entire crop cycle.
The latest research to be presented is with Improver Max, which brings together in a single product the balance between physiological and nutritional effects, being specially developed for the treatment of grass seeds. As benefits we can mention the best initial start-up, rooting and productivity gains of 14,4%.
“The results, obtained in the last harvest (20/21), will be displayed in our technological showcase and our team will be available to show visitors how much the use of technologies in rice cultivation can increase the profitability of the rice producer”, informs Evandro Minato (photo), agronomist and doctor in Agronomy in the area of Soil and Plant Nutrition from the State University of Maringá and Market Development consultant at ICL.
