ICL increasingly strengthens its brand in Brazil by participating in the country's main events aimed at producers. The highlight of the fair is the multinutrient phosphate fertilizer for soil Phusion Poly, which arrived on the market this harvest and brings nine nutrients in a single granule -- phosphorus, potassium, calcium, sulfur, magnesium, boron, zinc, copper and manganese --, technology with a balanced concentration that meets the nutritional demands of various crops such as soybeans, coffee, eucalyptus, HF, tomatoes, carrots, potatoes and garlic, among others.
In terms of seed treatment, Kelmax Dry is a new technology developed and with a patent required by the company, which brings to the market a new way of applying nutrients and hormonal precursors, exclusive for use in industrial seed treatment. It comes in an exclusive powder formulation, with the aim of providing greater operational ease and reducing the volume of syrup in industrial treatment of soybean seeds, being applied at the end of the industrial process through a powder dosing compartment available in seed treatment machines. industrial (TSI).
Under the global ICL Innovation Ecosystem pillar, the company has several initiatives on different fronts, such as Industry 4.0, Open Innovation, Startup Hub, Internal Innovation Accelerator, among others. Actions launched in Brazil last year will be showcased at Cotrijal, such as ICL Planet, a startup hub that aims to boost, promote and nurture revolutionary technology companies active in meeting critical global needs and creating a positive environmental impact and sustainable. The company also presents other activities already launched in the country and to be launched this year.
The company invests US$64 million globally in research and development. In Brazil, around R$20 million is invested annually. In the last five years, it has launched 21 products, has a series of patent applications filed and has made a significant contribution to the generation of technologies that add to agricultural production from North to South of Brazil, focusing on the best use of nutrients for tropical agriculture combined with to sustainability.
