I Application Technology Field Day brings together around 200 people

Fundecitrus held today (17/4) the 200st Application Technology Field Day, in partnership with Coopercitrus Cooperativa de Produtores Rurais, at the Citriculture Experimental Station in Bebedouro (SP). The event brought together around XNUMX professionals linked to the citrus sector.

The general manager of Fundecitrus, Juliano Ayres, gave the opening speech, bringing the figures from the closing of the 2018/19 harvest and highlighting the institution's actions to control greening.

Then, the participants split up to visit two stations, which presented, in theory and practice, how to correctly adjust sprayers, what volumes are recommended for controlling the main diseases and pests and how to check the efficiency of coverage, in addition to of the economic, operational and environmental benefits that sizing machines and adjusting the volume of grout can generate. Finally, representatives from Coopercitrus addressed the control of the ferret, a pest that has grown in the northern region of the citrus park in the last two harvests.
