HORSCH takes advantage of Tecnoshow Comigo 2022 to officially launch the product that combines German quality with Brazilian identity: the Leeb VL sprayer. “With the promising Brazilian agricultural market, we bring solutions to rural producers through exhibitions at the fair, which every year attracts more of the public and the eyes of Brazil”, says Rodrigo Duck, general director of HORSCH.

The Leeb VL arrives on the national market in style with five independent sections that guarantee maximum adaptation to the ground, in addition to having a 5 thousand liter tank and 7 agitators, with the highest operational performance on the national market. It is a model that allows agility, economy and precision.

According to the HORSCH team, the sprayer design was entirely aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of the application. With operational versatility, the Leeb VL has a hydraulic adjustment of the free span height (ranging from 1,60 to 2 meters) that allows later applications in larger crops, in addition to having an adjustable gauge width for greater stability and a innovative intelligent traction system, with less soil compaction. Another point mentioned by the team was that the equipment meets the needs of rural producers, who are looking for mobility in transport. In 'transport mode', the sprayer is approximately three meters wide, without any mechanical adjustment, allowing movement on highways without the need for beaters.

Other new features from HORSCH, also present at the fair, will be the new Maestro Kompass, Maestro Evolution, Maestro Duo (planters) and Evo CS (fertilizer), which allow for varied options in terms of number of rows and spacing between discs.

The Maestro Kompass planter comes to the fair with a novelty: its 7500 liter input tank, also featuring perfect distribution due to the AirVac electric doser, which eliminates errors and allows the exact proportion of seeds to be regulated. The Maestro Evolution, on the other hand, has the greatest autonomy on the market, with a capacity of 9 thousand liters and a single central seed tank that allows fewer stops during planting and faster supplies. The Maestro Duo, in turn, is a planter that applies fertilizer and places seeds, grain by grain, with high precision developed for direct planting, with great autonomy and ease of transport. The Evo CS is a high-performance fertilizer machine for applying granular fertilizers in depth. This is multitasking equipment, which makes it possible to carry out three operations in one: applying fertilizers, loosening the soil and sowing cover crops.

Promising market

Currently, Brazil is the fourth largest exporter of agricultural products in the world, with a value of approximately USD 100,7 billion, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, with great prospects for accelerated growth. To give you an idea, over the next three years, the plan, approved by Embrapa (Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation), and released at the beginning of April, is to increase crops such as wheat, from 7,7 million to approximately 300 million.

“For the expansion of the Brazilian agricultural market to continue advancing, technology must work hand in hand with rural producers from planting to harvest, which is why we have increased our national production”, concludes Duck.

Tecnoshow Comigo runs until April 8th, from 8 am to 18 pm, in Rio Verde, in the interior of Goiás. The fair has a renovated and expanded structure covering 65 hectares, 600 exhibitors and more than 100 speakers.
