Hexagon launches system compatibility solution at Agrishow 2020

A technology that standardizes communication in the field is the launch of Hexagon's Agriculture division, which takes place during Agrishow, in Ribeirão Preto. The HxGN AgrOn Ti7 display with the Isobus standard helps address one of the biggest current challenges regarding the automation of agricultural machines, the integration between tractors, implements and devices from different manufacturers. According to Bernardo de Castro, president of global's agricultural vertical, “the objective is to help producers ensure the best use of the tools they have, making the adoption of technological solutions more viable and easier to implement"

The 27th edition of the fair starts on April 27th and runs until May 1st. The event is one of the largest agricultural fairs in the world, bringing together an audience of 150 visitors and 800 exhibitors. “For this reason, we decided to make the official launch at Agrishow, one of the largest fairs in the sector and a showcase for launches and trends in agribusiness globally”, points out Castro.

The product is a software component that runs on all display models offered by Hexagon. Current customers will be able to take advantage of the technology only with software updates and new customers will have the choice between adopting the Isobus standard or performing precision agriculture functions in Hexagon's proprietary applications.”

The HxGN AgrOn platform will also be highlighted at Agrishow. In addition to being a means for the digital transformation of agriculture, HxGN AgrOn developments reduce raw material waste, synchronize and connect operations, maintain profitability while prices rise, and reduce machine downtime. In total, there are more than 35 products developed for cultivation, harvesting and transport operations, for end consumers, agricultural companies and manufacturers, and some of them will be on display at the fair.
