The Italian-Japanese company Sipcam Nichino Brasil promises to present innovations to the sugar-energy sector in the coming weeks, including a new Biostimulant Platform, to boost productivity from planting to harvesting. According to the company's crops manager, agronomist Carulina Oliveira, the company is also committed to disseminating to the sugar, ethanol and energy producing units, at the beginning of the harvest, the advantages of the high-tech herbicide Leale SC.
According to the agronomist, given the uncertainties of the climate in the coming months, among other challenges that arise, Sipcam Nichino has a cutting-edge tool, capable of controlling the main invaders of sugar cane in the semi-dry, semi-humid and humid seasons.
“Leale SC can be applied to sugarcane and ratoon sugarcane. The characteristics of the herbicide provide representative results in the management of weeds that hinder the full establishment of the crop”, points out Carulina. According to her, among the so-called 'problem herbs' that are the product's target, we highlight colonial grass, crabgrass, brachiaria grass, viola strings, merremias and others.
Carulina also states that, due to its prolonged residual, Leale SC helps the producer to keep the sugar cane free from 'weed competition'. “It is a herbicide with action in initial post-emergence and pre-emergence. The recommendation is that it be applied post-planting pre-emergence of the crop or immediately after harvest, before the ratoon cane sprouts.”
Also according to Carulina, throughout the 2022 sugarcane harvest, Sipcam Nichino will expand its line of herbicides. In the coming days, she adds, there will be the launch of a cutting-edge technology in the area, which will have among its differences “a revolutionary formulation in the local market”.
According to Carulina, another 13 cutting-edge products are part of the company's sugarcane portfolio, such as the herbicides Ancosar 720, Kicker, Leale SC, Metrimex 500 SC; the Sprint WG ripener; the Partner adjuvant; the insecticide Takumi and the biostimulants Abyss, Blackjak, Nutex Premium and Stilo Verde.
