Heavy rains hit areas of the Southeast and Central-West

The fourth episode of the South Atlantic Convergence Zone (ZCAS) of the 2024/2025 rainy season (green symbol in Figure 1), was configured on the morning of this Tuesday (3) and the forecast indicates its action until next Thursday (05/12), causing rains that may be heavy during this period in areas of the Central-West and Southeast regions.

This system is responsible for promoting consecutive days of cloudy weather, considerable volumes of rain, sometimes persistent, which can have an impact on the population.
