Concerned with offering the best practices to producers in managing coffee cultivation, Guarany will distribute the Farmer Service Bulletin – Coffee Culture during the 19th edition of Expocafé, which will take place in Três Pontas (MG), from June 08th to 10th. The purpose is to ensure less soil contamination, lower producer costs and lower environmental impact, maximizing gains, quality and high performance.
In this Bulletin, coffee producers will find the types of equipment and how to use them in this cultivation. The solutions were developed based on specific technical studies to control pests, diseases and weeds that affect crop development, in addition to the main symptoms, damages and conditions conducive to the occurrence of these problems.
Besides the Farmer Service Bulletin, farmers will be able to collect a copy of the Responsible Producer Handbook, which suggests good practices with the aim of making agricultural activity even more productive and profitable.
The company will also carry out a field activity, presenting the machines at EPAMIG's experimental coffee farm, on June 08th (from 13pm to 17pm) and June 09th (from 9am to 17pm).
Integrated Solutions
Guarany equipment reinforces the concept of integration between man, machine and the field, presenting innovations in both design and operation for the most diverse applications, and also with operator safety and the preservation of natural resources as a priority.
During the event, the Guarany will present the differences between the 18l and 11l Motorized Backpack Atomizers and the Backpack Granule Applicator, high-performance equipment for coffee cultivation. In addition, the public will find the entire line of sprayers, tips and accessories at the stand.
Equipment
The steepness of the coffee-producing mountains has always been an obstacle for the farmer. One of the solutions used is the Backpack Granule Applicator, known as Fertilizer. This equipment allows the application of fertilizer in a continuous or dosed manner, contributing to direct savings, high safety and also high performance, one of the essential requirements for growing mountain coffee, given the terrain conditions.
Another benefit of the equipment is the tank that facilitates the flow of granules in a controlled manner, without the need to use a motor, since the flow is done by the force of gravity.
Awarded for its design at Idea Brasil 2014, the equipment has a joystick control to control doses and replaces broadcast application (manually), in which the producer loads the bag or bucket of fertilizer and places the desired amount by hand. , coming into direct contact with the fertilizer, which can generate contamination. Another important point: with broadcast application, the fertilizer dose can vary, contributing to waste and soil contamination.
Coffee cultivation requires equipment that guarantees the control of various pests and diseases in the crop. One of Guarany's differences in this type of solution is that the Motorized Backpack Atomizer was developed with the aim of providing high performance to the coffee producer. It has a tank with a different shape, allowing for a low center of gravity and ergonomics. The equipment is multipurpose and can be used as a blower, by attaching the nozzle for this purpose or for applying granulated products, by purchasing the granulate applicator accessory.
Due to the air curtain formed by its turbine and small drops, the Motorized Backpack Atomizer is ideal for applying insecticides and fungicides to large crops or where there is a need for greater penetration and coverage of the pesticide.
