Agronomist Graciela Mognol took over as marketing director for BASF's agricultural solutions division in Brazil. As disclosed by the company, its mission is to strengthen connections with rural producers and boost the Brazilian agro sector. With more than two decades of experience in agronomy and marketing, she brings to the team a vision focused on seed integration, crop protection and digital agriculture.

The change is part of an internal restructuring of the company, which includes the promotion of Hugo Borsari to the position of vice president of the seeds business for North America (click here to read).

Graciela was born into a family dedicated to agriculture. She decided to pursue a career as an agricultural engineer. Graduated 24 years ago, she sees food production as a stimulating challenge. Her interest evolved into the marketing area, where she sought to understand business strategies and impact the lives of rural producers.

During her career, Graciela had experience at BASF, where she worked in the marketing area of ​​the agricultural division. At a certain point, he decided to leave the agro sector to explore new possibilities and expand his business vision. This period away from agriculture allowed her to gain a new perspective on business integration, which motivated her to return to BASF with a more complete vision.

Graciela took over as marketing director eleven months after returning to the company. She expressed enthusiasm about the new challenge and highlighted the trust that the company placed in her at a time when BASF is experiencing a new cycle, increasingly focused on the farmer.
