The National Monetary Council (CMN) approved the adjustments to the minimum prices for fresh oranges and Arabica and conilon coffees for the 2023/2024 harvest.

Conilon coffee, type 7, with up to 150 defects, sieve size 13 above and moisture content of up to 12,5%, had an adjustment of 5,8%, from R$434,82/60 kg bag to R$460,02 .XNUMX.
For oranges, the minimum prices were regionalized, with emphasis on Rio Grande do Sul. This measure was taken due to the difference in the production system in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
The approved minimum prices were based on production costs calculated by Conab, with an increase of 10% on the cost for Rio Grande do Sul and 8,75% for the other states. The approved prices are R$ 20,53/40,8 kg for Rio Grande do Sul and R$ 22,72/40,8 kg for other locations. The new values will be in force from July this year until June 2024.
