Georgia Ferreira recently assumed the role of “Global Manufacturing Expertise Owner” at Corteva Agriscience. With more than two decades of experience in large companies in the sector, she brings a wide range of knowledge and skills to her new role.
Before Corteva, Georgia accumulated almost 17 years of experience at DuPont, where she held a variety of roles. Since joining in August 1998, she has evolved from "Solutions Architect" to "Senior Consultant", "Senior Project Manager" and "Production Supervisor". With the creation of Dow DuPont, she joined the new company.
At Corteva, I played the role of "Site Production Leader". For almost four years, he led production areas and ensured synergy between the supply chain and operational functions at the Franco da Rocha unit, São Paulo.
Georgia has a degree in chemical engineering from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), where she also completed a master's degree in separation processes. Additionally, she obtained an MBA in business administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).
