Brahman breed genetics will be offered at exhibition auctions in São Paulo

Brahman genetics, coming from important breed breeding facilities, will be available for purchase during two auctions scheduled for the month of March in the state of São Paulo. The first finish takes place during the 3rd São Carlos Brahman Special Exhibition, which will be held between the 14th and 19th of March, in Itirapina/SP. The auction will be promoted by Agropecuária Leopoldino, on March 19th, starting at 20pm.

 

During the exhibition, approximately 300 Brahman specimens will also be judged. The trial will be conducted by juror Fábio Eduardo Ferreira, between March 17th and 19th. Among the aspects evaluated in the animals are good racial characterization, morphology, precocity and functionality. There will be a raffle for prizes such as a TV, DVD and bicycle for participating animal handlers. The baby championships (6 and 7 months old) will be awarded with cash prizes.

 

Simultaneously with the Brahman exhibition, the 26th Interstate Arabian Horse Exhibition will be held, both held at the Broa Golf Resort.

 

On March 25th, during the 46th Avaré Municipal Agricultural Exhibition (EMAPA), the Marcas de Peso Auction will be held, promoted by Fazenda Imperial, owned by breeder Luiz Carlos Monteiro and Fazenda Bela Colina, owned by Valdemir de Jesus Gomes. On this occasion, 15 lots of pregnancies will be offered. The animals participating in the race will be presented the day before (24/03), at around 18pm, at the Dr. Fernando Cruz Pimentel exhibition grounds.

 

The Brahman breed trials during EMAPA take place between the 23rd and 26th of March and the choice of champions will be up to judges Rodrigo Lopes Cançado, Marcelo Miranda and Izarico Camilo Neto. In 2010, approximately 300 Brahman specimens participated in EMAPA. The expectation is that the race will maintain the number of participating animals.
