Agricultural Sciences students who completed their degree between December 2019 and July 2021 and are looking for a great opportunity to enter the job market can now enroll in the Genesis Group 2021/2022 trainee program. The agri-food security solutions company, recognized by GPTW as an excellent place to work, opens its doors in search of young talents in agribusiness, who will interact with the different areas of the group with a focus on operations related to commodities.

In total, there are eight vacancies distributed across six states, the regions are: Luís Eduardo Magalhães/BA, Balsas/MA, Campo Novo do Parecis, Sorriso e Querência/MT, Rio Verde/GO, Dourados/MS and Paraná. Young students graduating in agronomy, agricultural engineering and/or agronomic engineering or Agricultural Technician can participate. The company will also provide opportunities for those who have chosen a higher education course in another area, such as environmental engineering, animal husbandry and administration.

According to Nancy Ferreira, DHO Manager and Genesis academy, the prerequisites for vacancies primarily involve a passion for agriculture. You also need digital skills with knowledge of office packages, internet and applications, availability to change states/city and travel, as well as a category B driver's license. Among the benefits, in addition to market-compatible remuneration, health plan, dental plan, meal voucher and Profit Sharing Program (PPR). “Those approved will begin their journeys with us from November 2021”, she highlights.

Process Steps

The program is scheduled to start between October and November this year, and will last six months.

The selection process begins this month (August 2021), and the first stage will be entirely online, starting with CV screening and behavioral profile mapping (analysis of soft's kills), in which candidates will be evaluated in relation to their training, market experiences, projects developed at college and behavioral skills, to verify compliance with the desired profile for the position.

Next, there is an interview with Genesis Group's human and organizational development area and an assessment of technical knowledge, ending with an interview led by the board and management. Those approved will go through a training plan, with online and in-person activities. “In the last two months of the program, each trainee assumes shared leadership of a Genesis Group region or project”, concludes Nancy.

Registration is open until 15/09/2021 and can be completed at: https://jobs.solides.com/genesis-group/vaga/84195.
