Agro continues to be a pillar of the Brazilian economy. Furthermore, the financial market is an alternative for attracting investments, boosting the business of various players, especially in agribusiness. Last month, GDM launched R﹩ 210 million in agribusiness receivable certificates, and with these amounts it intends to invest even more in research and development, portfolio expansion and infrastructure.

"Our company is innovative and knows that the market is at a good moment for agribusiness in Brazil. Furthermore, we are a strong brand, a leader in the country, we are able to attract investors because we have quality solutions and more than 40 years of history" , declares Ignacio Bartolomé, Business Director, but who will assume the position of CEO of the group from January 2022.

The company issued the certificates, which occurred right at the opening of the offer, in October, in partnership with banks Itaú and Bradesco.

"The CRA is interesting for GDM because it allows the company to pay lower interest rates, extend debt terms and help make the group even better known in the Brazilian capital market", explains GDM's Financial Planning Coordinator, Gustavo Santarelli.

This was GDM's first operation to offer Agribusiness Receivables Certificates, and it was very successful, according to the coordinator's assessment. "The benefit of the CRA is to give GDM the certainty that in the coming years the group will have all the resources available to make the necessary investments in R&D. This way, we will continue to grow as number one in the market, developing and improving our business" , adds the coordinator.
