Meeting took place at Embrapa Arroz e Feijão
The Citrus Defense Fund – Fundecitrus will hold, on October 25th, the VI MasterCitrus Symposium, with the presentation of research results from students of the Professional Master's Degree in Citrus Disease and Pest Control, offered by the institution. The event is free and takes place at its headquarters, in Araraquara/SP, starting at 8:30 am.
The institution organizes the Symposium with the aim of sharing the results of MasterCitrus research with citrus growers and professionals in the sector in a way that contributes to improving the management and control of the main diseases and pests that affect citrus farming.
This year, the event will be organized into 9 short lectures presenting results of studies on the control of floral rot, citrus canker, greening (huanglongbing/HLB) and citrus leprosis. Check out the full schedule here.
The research carried out in MasterCitrus generates results that can be applied in the field and provides efficiency and savings in the management of orange orchards.

MasterCitrus has been offered since 2009 and has already trained 87 masters. It is recognized by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes) of the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC), with a grade of 4.
