Fendt announces new executives in Global Management
Replacing Peter-Josef Paffen, Christoph Gröblinghoff has been appointed CEO and Chairman of the Board of Management of AGCO/Fendt
With the beginning of the rains in the state of São Paulo, joint management for early blight and citrus canker begins. Control begins with applications of copper in the post-flowering phase and, from November onwards, early blight must be controlled with strobilurin (see table below).
It is worth remembering that copper alone is not enough to control early blight in adult orchards, since its effectiveness against the disease is 50-70%, while that of strobilurin can reach 95%. However, the combination of these two products and the moderate use of strobilurin are important to avoid fungal resistance.

Care must be taken with excessive use of strobilurin to avoid selection of resistant fungi. The recommendation is not to use it in more than three applications per harvest.
Mineral or vegetable oil should be used at a dose of up to 0,25% for early blight, especially in older orchards in mid-season and late varieties. In newer orchards and early varieties, the oil dose can be reduced.
Fundecitrus listed the seven main errors observed during the management of black spot, which can compromise efficient control of the disease and must be corrected:
