Fundecitrus promotes event on greening management strategies

Fundecitrus will promote, next Wednesday (August 5th), at 17 pm, an online event to present the results of the survey on the incidence of greening in 2020, provide information about the insect vector and control strategies and discuss the impact economic impact of the disease.

The moderation will be done by the general manager of Fundecitrus, Juliano Ayres, with a presentation by journalist Alessandra Kuba. The institution's participants will be researchers Renato Bassanezi, presenting the survey data, and Marcelo Miranda, bringing strategies for managing the psyllid. Fundecitrus agronomist Guilherme Rodriguez will talk about external greening control actions.

Guests João Roberto Lopes, professor and vice-director at Esalq-USP, and Marcos Fava Neves, professor at FEA-USP and FGV, will address, respectively, aspects of the psyllid's dispersal and the economic impact of the disease.
