With the aim of presenting available and developing technological tools and solutions for the citrus sector, Fundecitrus promotes its 1st FundecitrusTech Workshop – Citrus 4.0 & Sustainability, which takes place on November 28th (Thursday), from 8am to 17pm, at the Fundecitrus headquarters, in Araraquara-SP. The event is free and registration must be done at website. Vacancies are limited.
O 1st FundecitrusTech Workshop – Citrus 4.0 & Sustainability will bring together companies that offer technologies to the citrus industry in the areas of management, control and monitoring and innovation to present their products and projects – see the complete program on website.
“There are affordable technologies that can contribute to efficiency and productivity gains and ensure greater administrative, economic and operational control of orchards, increasing business competitiveness and sustainability”, says Fundecitrus agronomist Luís Scandelai, organizer of the event. “Fundecitrus will form a 'bridge' between companies and citrus growers and professionals in the citrus sector so that they have access to what is already available and know what is being developed for the future”, he explains.
During the workshop, Fundecitrus's newest tool will also be launched, the Phytosanitary Management System. Integrated with the Phytosanitary Alert, the system offers an overview of the property in relation to pests and diseases (incidence maps and inspection results), helping to control the application interval (interval map and spray history), in addition to providing release reports of harvest according to the grace period of the products used.
