Fundecitrus presents an estimate for the 2019/20 orange harvest in Encitros

The 30th edition of the Citrus Technical and Scientific Meeting (Encitros), promoted by Unesp/Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, took place this Thursday (5/7), in Araraquara (RS). official calendar of events of the Municipality of Araraquara, reinforcing the importance of the sector for the city's economy.

The event brought together professionals linked to the citrus sector to, among other objectives, promote the exchange of knowledge and information and integration with the university through lectures that addressed the current scenario and trends in citrus farming in relation to production, exports, consumption and research into the health benefits of juice. 

In addition to being one of the event's supporters, Fundecitrus provided participants with information on the estimated 2019/20 harvest and tree inventory, presented by PES executive coordinator, Vinícius Trombin.
