Fundecitrus opens new class for professional master’s degree in citrus and launches specialization course

Contributing to the production and dissemination of knowledge in citrus farming, Fundecitrus offers, in addition to lectures and technical training training, a Professional Master's program in Citrus Plant Health - MaterCitrus and, now, also a Specialization course in Citrus Plant Health - ExpertCitrus .

Aimed at professionals who work or wish to work in citrus farming, the courses cover the management of the main citrus pests and diseases and are composed of theoretical and practical subjects.

The programs are free and the selection process for the 2022 classes began on November 24th. 

Professional Master's Degree in Citrus Plant Health - MasterCitrus

MasterCitrus, a stricto sensu postgraduate course, was created in 2009 and has already trained 100 professionals in seven classes. The course is approved by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes) with grade 4.

Lasting two years, MasterCitrus is free of charge for students and recent graduates can compete for scholarships.

Specialization in Citrus Plant Health - ExpertCitrus

ExpertCitrus is a lato sensu postgraduate course aimed at professionals or recent higher education graduates in the areas of Agricultural Sciences or Biological Sciences who wish to specialize in the management of citrus pests and diseases.

Lasting one year, the course does not require a dissertation defense and also has no costs for students.

The courses will be held in person at the Fundecitrus headquarters, in Araraquara. The complete notice is available on the institution's website and registrations must also be made through the portal.
