Fundecitrus addresses fungal diseases in the last days of Citrus Week

On Thursday, June 6th, greening was the theme of the Fundecitrus talks. Agricultural engineer Guilherme Rodriguez, in “Successful case of a consortium of citrus growers for external actions to control HLB (Southwest region)”, presented the positive results against the disease, verified within the farms, which have been obtained through joint work between Fundecitrus and producers in the surroundings of citrus properties.

Concluding the presentations, researcher Marcelo Miranda spoke about “New information on chemical control of psyllids in citrus orchards”, bringing together results of research carried out by Fundecitrus in recent years (read about the subject in Citricultor nº 49).
