Frísia and the sigmaABC platform are preparing cooperative members to issue the Electronic Invoice (NF-e), mandatory for producers starting January 2, 2025 throughout Brazil. This change promises to speed up the process of issuing invoices, bringing benefits such as production traceability.
Until now, the movement of cargo, such as grains and potatoes, was accompanied by a manual paper invoice. With the NF-e, the information will be recorded digitally and linked to the producer and the driver of the transport vehicle, making the process faster and safer.
"We know that, at first, it can be challenging to get used to this new way of issuing invoices, which is quite different from the traditional way. But we are here to help at each stage and ensure that this process is as smooth as possible", explains the Service Coordinator at the Frísia Cooperado Center, Ana Tângela de Almeida Fiancoski Borges.
In addition to practicality, Ana Tângela highlights the additional benefits of using the sigmaABC platform, which will allow cooperative members to manage their properties more efficiently, with features such as production traceability. "Although this requirement is not yet mandatory in the international market, we are preparing for this trend, which is already beginning to take shape," she adds.
SigmaABC, developed by the ABC Foundation – a research and improvement institution that has Frísia as one of its sponsors – is a rural management tool that currently has features for issuing NFP-e for grains and potatoes.
In October, more than 200 cooperative members participated in meetings in the municipalities of Tibagi, Carambeí, Ponta Grossa, Teixeira Soares and Imbituva, where they were given guidance on the step-by-step process for issuing an invoice. New training sessions will be held in other cooperative units in the coming months.
Roberto Simão, general manager of sigmaABC, emphasizes that issuing an NF-e can be done simply, both through the app and via the web. "Parameterizing data – such as address and destination of the invoice –, which is usually one of the biggest difficulties, will be made easier. In addition, members will be able to issue the invoice with just three or four clicks," explains Simão.
Another benefit is the convenience of transportation: for example, it is possible to register the driver's phone number so that he or she can receive the invoice digitally, allowing him or her to travel from the property to the reception unit. "If it is the same truck and driver returning for a second load, with just two clicks the cooperative member can generate a new invoice," adds Roberto.
About four weeks ago, Frísia launched the Cooperado Center, a sector dedicated to meeting all the needs of members, from questions to suggestions and complaints, acting, according to Ana Tângela, as the first point of contact between the member and the cooperative", says Ana Tângela.
Composed of six analysts distributed in the cities of Teixeira Soares, Imbituva, Tibagi, Carambeí and Ponta Grossa (all in Paraná) and in Paraíso do Tocantins (TO), the Center facilitates access to essential information and speeds up communication between members and internal sectors. "The Center does not exclude the possibility of direct contact with the cooperative's sectors, but works as a facilitator, both for members and for internal sectors, ensuring that all demands are met", highlights Ana Tângela.
Later this year, the Cooperado Center and sigmaABC will promote more training to ensure that all cooperative members are ready for the new phase of issuing electronic invoices.
