Free online event will discuss challenges and advances related to entomology

Fifth edition of the Entomology and Biodiversity Conservation Meeting takes place between November 11th and 15th, 2024

Between the 11th and 15th of November, the Postgraduate Program in Entomology and Biodiversity Conservation, at the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD), will hold, online and free of charge, the 5th edition of the Entomology and Biodiversity Conservation (V EECB) under the theme "Insects in the Global Climate Change Scenario". Registration to participate in the event is open until November 10th. The deadline for submitting academic works is open until August 31st, with the successful publication scheduled for October 20th. Interested parties can register via the official website (www.even3.com.br/veecb).

The meeting has gained national and international prominence in discussions on different topics related to entomology, and will bring together undergraduate and postgraduate students and teachers, as well as professionals in entomology from Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Mozambique, Paraguay, Portuguese, English and from various other nationalities, to discuss the challenges and advances related to entomology and biodiversity conservation.

The V EECB will provide participants with the opportunity to participate in lectures, round tables, mini-courses and presentations of scientific work. In addition, there will be a photography and scientific illustration competition, and the distribution of gifts.
