A family of lightweight, low-weight engines that follows the global trend of downsizing and ensures best-in-class performance from agriculture to construction to power generation. This is the F5 Family from FPT Industrial, made up of the 32-liter FPT F3,2 and 34-liter FPT F3,4 engines, which combine low operating costs, easy maintenance and performance even in the most demanding conditions.
Available in four-cylinder configurations from 58 hp to 115 hp, mechanical or electronic injection Common Rail, this family stands out for its high power and torque density, with quick and precise responses at low speeds and fuel consumption up to 6% lower than the main competitors.
Worldwide, FPT F5 engines are present in more than 1.500 applications. “The wide range of configurations makes the F5 Family suitable for a wide variety of applications, from compact construction machines to industrial applications as well as agricultural tractors. The series synthesizes the most advanced research and development, reinforcing the brand's innovative DNA”, says the Director of Engineering at FPT Industrial, Alexandre Xavier.
Designed taking into account customer needs, the thrusters feature user-friendly and simple interfaces for maintenance, as filter repairs can be carried out on only one side of the assembly, ensuring easy, fast and safe operations. Together with exceptional performance and long oil change intervals, the advantages make the F5 Family ready for the most demanding missions, such as high incline operations and cold starts in temperatures as low as -25°C.
The FPT F32 engine, with mechanical injection and fixed geometry turbocharger, uses tried and tested technical solutions, providing the perfect balance between performance and ease of maintenance.
Larger displacement and injection Common Rail, the FPT F34 engine combines power and the best torque in its category. E-EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) systems with external cooling and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) ensure best-in-class performance for compact machines.
The F5 Family is available in structural and non-structural versions. The first of them, with a cast iron head, is a prerequisite for agricultural applications, in order to maximize the resistance of the structure and reduce noise and vibration.
In South America, the engines equip agricultural tractors from Case IH and New Holland Agriculture, and skid steers from CASE and New Holland Construction, brands that are part of CNH Industrial. They are also present in various applications for other brands on the market.

The FPT F32 and FPT F34 engines for power generation have reduced dimensions, adapting to the installation location in a modular way. As standard, they are equipped with a fixed speed fan. Optionally, they can have an electronic regulator, which maintains a constant speed regardless of the load, ensuring energy supply in any situation.
