FPT Industrial acquires Potenza Technology

FPT Industrial acquired 100% of Potenza Technology, a company specialized in the design and development of electric and hybrid propulsion systems. The incorporation represents another step towards electrification, one of the pillars of the strategy of engines with multiple energy sources in the segments in which the brand operates.

Based in Coventry, UK, Potenza Technology has been at the forefront of electric propulsion technologies since 1999, specializing in safety engineering, functional management systems for traction batteries, as well as the design and development of electric and hybrid systems.

“Due to the sustainability benefits of electrification, the automotive industry must focus on this area to overcome the challenges and make it viable for all potential applications”, says the CEO of FPT Industrial, Annalisa Stupenengo.
