FPT Industrial's agricultural line will be at Agritechnica 2023

FPT Industrial, an Iveco Group brand, will present its complete portfolio for the field during Agritechnica 2023, held in Hanover, Germany. The event will take place from November 12th to 18th. According to the press release, the brand believes that sustainability is the key to XNUMXst century agriculture. Therefore, it has focused on improving internal combustion diesel engines, in addition to the introduction of sustainable fuels, such as hydrogen and biomethane. 

Portfolio 

FPT Industrial XC13 - the first single-base multi-fuel engine will debut in its hydrogen version. From diesel and natural gas — including biomethane — to hydrogen and renewable fuels, the engine was designed with a common core and optimized to run on multiple fuels, offering maximum component standardization and easy integration into the final product. 

All of these battery packs are advanced energy storage solutions for zero-emission agricultural equipment that deliver best-in-class energy density for superior performance. 

F28 - Compact but powerful, the F28 will be on display in its Hybrid version, with a diesel engine equipped with an e-flywheel, which combines high performance and low fuel consumption in a compact package. The in-line four-cylinder engine delivers a maximum power of 75 hp, while the electric motor adds 27 hp of continuous power and 40 hp of peak power. Its integrated layout allows for "plug & play" replacement of larger diesel versions. 

F36 PowerPack Stage V - The F36 PowerPack Stage V is a powerful, flexible and reliable solution for stationary and semi-stationary applications. The compact ATS package installed on the engine, including the urea injection system and all necessary sensors and manifolds, eliminates the need to develop a dedicated exhaust system. A variety of options such as alternators, starter motors, water and air preheating and urea tank of different sizes provide greater flexibility for customer installations. 

N45 - A key part of the NEF engine family, the N45 is a robust, reliable and versatile engine with a wide range of configurations and options to meet all agricultural needs and facilitate installation on all off-road machines. Now available in a 147kW version, it owes its continued success to its efficiency, its EGR-free, maintenance-free ATS layout and industry-leading service intervals of up to 1.200 hours. 

N67 Natural Gas -  N67 Natural Gas is a clean energy solution designed specifically for open field tractors. Offering the same performance as its diesel counterpart, in terms of power, torque, durability, the N67 NG guarantees diesel-like drivability and performance, always guaranteeing the same customer driving experience, while at the same time reducing the carbon footprint. of agricultural operations The engine achieves almost zero carbon emissions when powered by biomethane, thus enabling circular ecosystems in agriculture. The N67 NG is the heart of the “Sustainable Tractor of the Year 2022” – the New Holland T6.180 Methane Power.
