Fourth edition of the Brazilian Agribusiness Law Congress takes place this Tuesday (19)

During the program, experts will evaluate the impacts of judicial recovery, Fiagro, green transition property rights in agriculture

This Tuesday (19/3), starting at 9 am, the 4th edition of the Brazilian Congress of Agribusiness Law (CBDA) will take place, which will bring together experts from Law, agribusiness and investments to address four fundamental themes for legal security , economic growth and competitiveness of the sector. The Congress will feature the participation of former Minister of Finance Maílson da Nóbrega, economist and partner at Tendências Consultoria, who will give the inaugural lecture “Limitations to the Country’s Growth”.

Among the four key themes for the event are: Agribusiness and Capital Markets – Fiagro Regulation, Property Rights, Social Function and Agrarian Contracts; Risk Management, Credit and Judicial Recovery; and Green Transition: Bioeconomy and Legal Instruments. 

The event will also welcome big names from the economy and industry, authorities and representatives from the government, the Federal Supreme Court, as well as consultancies, Universities, Non-Governmental Organizations, sectoral entities and research institutes. 

Tribute

During the event, lawyer, professor and writer Arnoldo Wald, partner and founder of Wald, Antunes, Vita e Blattner Advogados, will receive a tribute for his contribution to the study of economic theory applied to legal phenomena. There will also be the launch of the book “Governance and Coordination of Agroindustrial Systems”, authored by Decio Zylbersztajn, Senior Professor at the University of São Paulo and Project Coordinator at the Fundação Instituto de Administração.
