Adecoagro's units in Brazil received important national recognition at the beginning of 2022 and the end of 2021: the Agro Mais Integridade Seal, awarded by MAPA - Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, and the PNQV National Quality of Life Award, from Brazilian Association for Quality of Life.

For the fourth consecutive year, Adecoagro had its good integrity, social responsibility, sustainability and ethics practices recognized by MAPA. The award is a pioneer among federal government ministries in the implementation of a sectoral seal aligned with the Public Integrity Promotion Program (Profip), of the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU). During the awards ceremony, Tereza Cristina, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, highlighted her expectation that more and more companies and cooperatives in the agricultural sector will achieve excellence in integrity, resulting in a favorable scenario.

Renato Junqueira Santos Pereira, vice-president of Sugar, Ethanol and Energy, and Leonardo Berridi, vice-president of Business Development, highlight that respect for people and the land is part of the company's DNA. “Integrity is present in our economic, social and environmental actions, pillars of our sustainability”, point out the executives. In addition to Adecoagro, 16 other companies were awarded.

PNQV National Quality of Life Award

In addition to the award made by MAPA, Adecoagro was recognized as a Silver Company in Good Quality of Life Practices, through the “For You! Adecoagro Quality of Life Program”. The fundamentals of management excellence considered in the evaluation of the companies were: knowledge of the customer and the market, social responsibility, leadership and constancy of purpose, vision of the future, orientation through processes and information, valuing people, generating value, systemic thinking, organizational learning, culture of innovation and development of partnerships.

Among the 16 selected companies, Adecoagro was the only one in the sugar-energy sector to be awarded. For Ronaldo Mendonça, Director of People & Management, it is a great satisfaction to receive recognition for the efforts and investments made in promoting the health and safety, well-being and appreciation of employees, with the aim of increasingly engaging them in purposes of the organization.
