Leaf line of fertilizers for grains and sugar cane is a highlight of Ubyfol at Showtec

Ubyfol will take its line of foliar fertilizers for grain and sugarcane crops to Showtec 2019 in Maracaju-MS. The event, which takes place from January 16th to 18th, is promoted by the MS Foundation and is established each year as one of the main fairs in the Brazilian Center-West region. “It will be a great opportunity to present innovations and follow market trends, in addition to strengthening our brand in the Southwest of Mato Grosso do Sul, with great emphasis on grain and sugar cane crops”, says Marina Bragine Ferreira, responsible for the company's marketing.

The portfolio available during the event consists of special fertilizers for seed and sett treatment, as well as foliar applications. As Marina explains, they are high concentration products, which offer ease and flexibility of application, maximizing crop performance from planting to the end of the cycle.

To the sugarcane field

For sugar cane, Ubyfol's market-leading product is MS Cana technology, the foliar fertilizer that meets the nutritional needs of the crop in the phase of greatest growth, the vegetative period. “Its use promotes the metabolic balance and physiological development of the plant, resulting in higher rates of growth and sugar storage in the stalk. Efficiency proven both by the stability of results and the increase in productivity”, explains Marina.

Grains are also highlighted

Grain production is very important for Mato Grosso do Sul. According to a 2017 survey by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the State occupies the third position in the national ranking in corn production and the fifth largest producer of soybeans. Furthermore, the total planted area reached 5,2 million hectares in 2017, for example, an increase of 7,8% compared to the previous year.

With this in mind, Ubyfol also brings special products to Showtec for grains, such as Induction and Copper Aminophosphite technologies. Both have phosphite as the protagonist, with the first, Induction, stimulating metabolic processes and plant nutrition through the association of phosphite with the micronutrients Mn, Zn, Mo and Ni. This results in greater development of roots and shoots in the vegetative phase. Copper Aminophosphite increases crop health by producing defense substances in the plant organism, resulting from the association of copper with phosphites, plus amino acids.
