LongPing High-Tech, a company with a strong presence in the corn seed market in Brazil, continues to fulfill its growth plan in the national market. According to the most recent research carried out by Spark consultancy, a specialist in agribusiness studies, the company remained among the top three in sales in the 2021 harvest. 

The results were provided by the excellent performance of its already consolidated brands, Morgan and Forseed, in the challenging 2021 harvest. Both brands have a robust portfolio highlighting high production ceilings, tolerance to water stress, as well as the main diseases of corn crops. , such as viruses.

Morgan

Following the growth strategy in the face of the main challenges of Brazilian agriculture, Morgan positions itself as vice leader and continues to invest heavily in R&D (Research and Development), in strengthening its portfolio through the commercialization of hybrids tolerant to CMV (Molicutes Complex and Viruses), including MG593, MG408, MG618, MG607 and the new launches MG540, MG556 scheduled for 2022. In addition to the recognized drought tolerance of its portfolio. 

Forseed

Since its launch in 2018, the Forseed brand has maintained the growth rate of market share in the off-season, going from 6% to the current 8%. “Forseed has advanced at an accelerated pace, thanks to its updated portfolio and connected to the needs of farmers, standing out for its productive performance, tolerance to the complex of stunts and viruses and resistance to water stress”, explains the executive. 

The brand recorded significant expansion in sales in the markets of Mato Grosso, São Paulo and Minas Gerais. Among the highlights are the hybrids FS575, FS564 and FS533.
