With the aim of presenting solutions that manage pests and diseases in soybean, corn and bean crops, FMC is present at the Summer Field Day promoted by the Cooperativa Agraria Agroindutrial and the Fundação Agraria de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Fapa). The event takes place on March 4th and 5th, in Guarapuava-PR.

For FMC's Regional Marketing Manager, Pedro Ferzola, the idea is to showcase innovations that result in positive results for crops, with a focus on plant productivity, quality and sustainability. “As we develop and invest in technologies that enable the evolution of agribusiness, the FMC technical team is ready to be a strategic partner for the producer. We want to understand the demands of the field to develop and deliver quality solutions, for increasingly sustainable and profitable grain production”declares

For this edition, the Company takes the Soy Project, a series of initiatives that aim to encourage and develop debates about challenges and think about the future of culture in the country. The action aims to bring together all links in the chain - producers, distributors, consultants, researchers and industry -, providing relevant information and increasingly understanding the demand in this segment.

All Project initiatives are focused on three major strategic pillars: Innovation Journey, Trust and Partnership, and Proximity to the farmer. Among them is support for the project Talking about Soy, an initiative of consultants and researchers, which promotes digital rural extension. This is a series of technical videos on management and good practices throughout the soybean cycle, covering various topics with the aim of helping producers in the search for better results for their crops.

Furthermore, the company works in contact with the main consultants in Brazil, present in all soy producing regions. O Top Class Consult, brings together these consultants to discuss the needs that arise in the field on a daily basis and possible improvements, so that FMC can continually adapt its positions, adjust its products and always look to the future.

Crop protection solutions

With strong investment in research and development, the company will present its complete portfolio, consisting of the bionematicide Presence, a biological product that protects soybean roots, allowing the plant to have a better start and improve its stand; the insecticide Premio, which works to protect Bt Soy, protecting the flowering period from attack by caterpillars; and herbicide Stone, a selective pre-emergent herbicide for soybean crops to control broad and narrow leaves, having two mechanisms of action to combat resistant weeds that are difficult to control.

Another highlight is the Domínio Bug Program, which provides insect management through insecticides Hero, which controls the pest by walking and contact; and the Talisman, with high performance and control in all bed bug cycles (eggs, nymphs and adults).
