FMC Agricultural Solutions participates in this important technical forum with the aim of presenting innovations to professionals linked to the sector who are looking for ways to increase the profitability of their companies in a sustainable way.

On this occasion, the company will promote two lectures. The first will be taught by renowned researcher Jaime Maia, and addresses the damage caused by nematodes, as well as providing guidance to participants regarding the main practices in combating this pest, so that producers can maximize their results. Next, FMC's PhD responsible for the research area, Giuliano Pauli, presents the evolution that the company has been bringing to the market, the Nematodes Command concept, which aims at Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and the excellent results of the Marshal Star nematicide and the bionematicide Quartz in sugarcane and ratoon.

“FMC has invested in nematode management for over 40 years and continues to innovate in the segment. We bring to the market products that meet the current needs of agribusiness. This seminar will be an opportunity for us to exchange information with participants and present our solutions, with emphasis on Quartzo, our latest launch for the sector”, comments FMC Regional Marketing Manager, Vinicius Batista.

Quartz is a biological product with high effectiveness in controlling nematodes and can be applied at the time of planting, transplanting seedlings, during the cultivation cycle or after harvest. It is recommended for any crop with the presence of root-knot nematodes (Pratylenchus zeae and P. brachyurus) and root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne incognita and M. javanica). Marshal Star is the most concentrated nematicide insecticide on the market, with high systemicity and rapid effect, providing excellent results in increasing productivity, characteristics that allow the creation of the new concept that will be presented: treatment of planting furrows with a focus on gains in TCH.
