FMC participates online in the Official Harvest Opening

Organized by the Federation of Rice Growers Associations of Rio Grande do Sul, the 31st edition of the Official Opening of the Rice Harvest will take place online this year. The event, which will have a Symbolic Act of the Opening of the Rice Harvest on February 11th, brings together producers, authorities, entities and company representatives who will learn about the latest scientific and technological advances in rice and soybean crops. 

On this occasion, FMC, a science company for agriculture, will participate in digital format and present 'Parceiros do Arroz', an initiative that reinforces its commitment to the field, and aims to present the solutions and innovations developed by the company and which counts the excellent results obtained by more than 20 rice producers in the south of the country, after using GPS Technology, which celebrates 15 years of efficiency in its history with more than 2,6 million hectares treated. The stories are from those who work and understand rice in every detail, from those who experience the culture daily and break the barrier of work, nurturing life stories related to the culture.

TECHNOLOGIES

Rice

GPS Technology has been efficient for 15 years and in its history has treated more than 2,6 million hectares. It includes the Gamit 360 CS, Permit Star and Seed+ products. Gamit 360 CS is a pre-emergent herbicide, efficient in controlling broad and narrow leaves and in the management of resistant plants, with excellent residual. Furthermore, this technology features Seed+, a biopotentiator that provides stress-free germination with more vigor and promoting rapid rooting. Allied with Permit, which protects the seed at the beginning of germination. FMC will also present the insecticide Altacor to control major pests, such as rootworm and panicle caterpillar; and the Crop+ solution (foliar application), a bio enhancer that acts on plant metabolism, mitigating various biotic and abiotic stresses, and making the plant better able to express its maximum genetic potential

For soybean management, participants will also be able to learn about the benefits of management technologies for pests, diseases and weeds, such as the pre-emergent herbicide Stone used to control weeds in soybeans from the beginning, even the most difficult ones, leaving the clear path to productivity; and Aurora, a post-emergent contact herbicide, which acts as an important tool to improve the performance of herbicides, enhancing crop management and promoting weed resistance management.

In addition to insecticides, Premio is the producer's greatest ally against Spodoptera losses in soybeans and Bt corn, providing crop protection for longer; Hero, which uses its high insecticidal potency to contain adult bed bugs, with immediate results; and Talisman, a complete solution for bed bug management, controlling eggs, nymphs and adults and boosting pest management performance.
