FMC, an agricultural science company, participates in the Official Opening of the Rice and Grains Harvest in Lowlands, which takes place between the 16th and 18th of February, in the municipality of Capão Leão, in Rio Grande do Sul, to present innovations for rice and soybean crops, which range from planting to harvesting, through high-quality products for crop protection.
"FMC, aligned with its purpose, has efficient and sustainable solutions for the field. Therefore, we will present our product portfolio as well as our TOGETHER producer relationship program, which the producer can count on throughout the 21/22 harvest", comments Pedro Ferzola, Marketing Manager for the Southern Region of FMC.
With the FMC TEM campaign, the company presents partnerships and solutions through the JUNTOS Produtor program. Through the program, registered participants, when purchasing the company's products, accumulate points, which can be exchanged for products and services. On the same opportunity, FMC will participate with two stands, one focused on rice cultivation and the other focused on soybean management.
At the rice stand, farmers will learn more details about Parceiros do Arroz, an FMC program that addresses the importance of crop development and involves the entire rice production chain such as producers, researchers, seed producers and distributors. FMC will also present GPS technology, its benefits and positioning, demonstrating in a didactic way how the tool helps farmers control weeds in this crop. GPS technology consists of seed treatment with Permit and Seed+ and, shortly after planting the crop, application of Gamit, a process to provide a clean crop in the first thirty days. The technicians will also demonstrate solutions such as Crop EVO, which has the capacity to reduce the impacts of biotic effects, caused by microorganisms and insects, and abiotic effects, caused by water deficiency, compacted soil and unsatisfactory levels of nutrients in the plant. And also, the insecticide Altacor, which aims to control rootworm and caterpillars.
In the area focused on soybean cultivation, the highlights will be the management solutions for stink bugs and caterpillars with the use of Premio, Hero and Talisman and also the management of diseases with Battle.
FMC also brings a space for the farmer to rest for the Official Opening of the Rice and Grain Harvest in Terras Baixas. The “anti-stress space" was created to welcome people who want to take a break to rest and, at the same time, take the opportunity to interact with the company's market developers to learn more about the use of FMC's solutions, who will be giving demonstrations technologies such as Seed+, a biopotentiator that can be used in both rice and soybeans.
Concerned with being present throughout the entire crop cycle, FMC has Talisman, for managing soybeans and corn, as it acts throughout the stink bug cycle, including eggs, nymphs and adults, with a residual effect, suitable for other applications , having a control effect not only for the green-bellied stink bug, as well as for the corn leafhopper, due to its great potential for control and elimination. In single management, FMC has Hero, which controls the pest by walking and contact. In addition to the Premio insecticide, the producer's greatest ally against Spodoptera losses in soybeans and Bt corn, providing crop protection for longer.
