Called Agriculture Value Chain, the initiative should lead to the shipment of the first volumes by the end of this harvest
FMC, an agricultural science company, always attentive to providing innovative solutions and a leader in solutions for sugar cane, participates in Copla Campo, in the online format, which takes place between the 22nd and 25th of February and will feature the the company's know-how in solutions that range from planting to harvesting, presenting quality and performance products.
"For us it is a pleasure to be at an event like Coplacampo, bringing technological and innovative solutions to contribute to your productivity. FMC, which always seeks to go further, will also present the initiative 'Where there is sugarcane, there is energy', with the purpose to value this sector that is so important to the country's economy, and that generates so much sustainable energy, present in our daily lives, with the aim of leveraging, along with all links in the chain, this cultivation that is so essential and versatile", Vinicius Batista, Regional Marketing Manager at FMC.
Concerned with being present throughout the entire crop cycle, operating from planting to harvest, so that the field can extract its best potential and produce even more, FMC relies on Quartz, a biological nematicide to control Chigger Nematode. lesions (Pratylenchus zeae and P. brachyurus) and root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne incognita and M. javanica), Altacor, a high-tech, broad-spectrum insecticide, developed to efficiently protect crops from the main insect pests, among them the drill and Sphenophorus. In addition to them, another highlight is the herbicide Reator 360 CS, which, thanks to its formulation, efficiently and safely combats a large number of weed plants, avoiding weed competition, and the FERTÍS line, which presents itself as a new segment within the company's portfolio. FMC, with SEED+, class A organomineral biostimulant, crop enhancer that acts on plant metabolism, so that it is able to express its maximum genetic potential.
Thinking about improving processes, which brings more safety to plant operations, FMC with SmartCalda technology allows control over the entire syrup preparation process, avoiding risks to plant operators and financial and environmental losses. In addition to the Gennesis Program, which combines high-performance biological and chemical solutions, bringing maximum productivity in a sustainable way to the sugarcane field.
For soy, FMC, with its capacity for innovation, research and development, which is presented through its portfolio, also contributes to the production challenges and increasingly present sustainability, through programs such as the Soy Project, which brings together initiatives involving segments of production, to provide quality information and debate the future of culture. After all, "it's more productive when we do it together", which is why it's part of the company's daily routine to bring together all the links in the chain and build efficient and sustainable solutions for the field.
FMC brings the high-performance Stone pre-emergent herbicide that keeps the path clear to productivity, efficiently on difficult-to-control weeds, facilitating management with glyphosate; the post-emergence contact herbicide Aurora, which acts as an important tool to improve herbicide control performance and promote weed resistance management; in addition to the bionematicicide Presence, with high seed shielding power. And to complement the technological management package, the Premio insecticide, which works to control caterpillars, with different positioning for BT and conventional soybeans.
