Between the 27th and 31th of July, the CMF will be present at Coopercitrus Expo, digitally offering solutions for managing pests, diseases and weeds in soybean, sugarcane, citrus and coffee crops. This year, the fair will feature a new 100% virtual experience, where participants will be able to navigate a 360° environment developed in 3D.

As is traditional, the Company will be available to members to present technologies and services to producers. At the special stand, visitors will be able to learn a little more about FMC and check out the actions for soybean, sugarcane, citrus and coffee crops, with special campaigns for each crop.

“The partnership we have with Coopercitrus is extremely important to be closer to producers. Our objective is to understand the demand in the field and contribute to the sustainable development of crops, providing convenience for the producer with the development of technological innovations. And this year we will have this special digital service experience that will give us the opportunity to be together even at this time when social distancing is important to prevent everyone’s health”, highlights FMC's Regional Marketing Manager, Vinicius Batista.

Technological solutions

To assist producers in the management of soybeans and corn, FMC has the insecticide Premio, which works to protect Bt Soy, protecting the flowering period from attack by caterpillars. In corn cultivation, through its systemic effect, it protects the new leaves that are common in the initial phase of the crop. The herbicide Stone, a selective pre-emergent with a control spectrum, has two mechanisms of action to combat resistant weeds that are difficult to control.

Another highlight is the Domain Bug Program, which provides producers with flexibility in management, resulting in high performance, allowing them to select the right product for the right time. Hero, is indicated for immediate control of adults, with a quick shock effect, controlling the pest by walking and contact. Talisman, protects the crop with residuality throughout the stink bug cycle, with its action on eggs, nymphs and adults.

For sugarcane, the highlight is a program for the management of sugarcane cultivation, with high-performance chemical and biological products and varied modes of action, which promote a balanced, healthy and vigorous development of the crop, in a free environment. weed competition, pests and diseases. O Genesis Program aims to promote maximum sugarcane productivity in a sustainable way.

The Program's solutions include insecticide Altacor, which has high insecticidal potency, a long period of control, and is completely selective to the natural enemies of the sugarcane borer; the bionematicide Quartz, recommended for controlling lesion nematodes (Pratylenchus zeae and P. brachyurus) and root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne incognita and M. javanica); and the biostimulant Seed to help the plant from the effects of stress.

As for coffee, the highlight is the efficient management of coffee rust and leaf miner with the soil program, Impact Mix Café, which has two complete solutions for coffee plant health and vigor that result in more productivity, including fungicide Impact has high systemicity, helping to develop strong and vigorous plants; and systemic insecticide Warrant, controls the leaf miner by promoting vigor in the roots and shoots, in addition to providing rapid root absorption.

Furthermore, participants will be able to check out the complete portfolio for controlling the main citrus pests and diseases. The insecticide Malathion 1000 is widely used in psyllid management diaphorina citri and acts with good shock action and strong contact action on Ferrets Ecdytolopha aurantiana, Gut Heliothrips haemorrhoidalis and fruit flies Ceratitis capitata. O CROP+, from the Fertis line, is the biostimulant responsible for enhancing the plant's defenses, allowing it to better resist abiotic stresses that affect productive efficiency and production quality.
