FMC announces new Commercial Director for the South region

Ivan Jarussi takes on the role with the aim of strengthening the company's business in the region

FMC, an agricultural science company, announces a new Commercial Director for the southern region of the country. Ivan Jarussi, assumes the position with the aim of strengthening the company's business, which focuses on the soybean, corn, rice and wheat markets.

The new director has been working in the agricultural pesticides market for 20 years, having started his career at FMC as a Marketing Assistant and later Sales Assistant in sugarcane cultivation. Ivan returned to FMC in 2017 and since then has been in charge of portfolio management for soybean and corn crops, where he led important projects, working actively with the commercial team.

“It will be a great personal and professional challenge. It's a pleasure to be part ofyour journey, which I view with great responsibility, for representing FMC in the leadership of a producing region that is so important for national agribusiness. I hope to contribute results to the company, ensure lasting and solid partnerships with distributors and cooperatives and bring innovations to producers that will benefit the productivity of their businesses”, declares Jarussi.

Now, in his new role, the director is committed to further strengthening the company's relationship with cooperatives, resellers and farmers in the region. “FMC is experiencing a new moment in its relationships with its customers and partners through the JUNTOS program. Our goal is to expand the initiative in the South region, so that everyone can enjoy the benefitsexclusive services and benefits of the platform”.

Ivan Jarussi is an Agricultural Engineer graduated from ESALQ/(USP) and has an MBA in Marketing from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
