Floral rot management is the topic of a Fundecitrus webinar

Fundecitrus will promote an online event next Thursday (20), starting at 18pm, on the sustainable management of floral rot, a disease that occurs when flowering coincides with rainy periods, which should happen in the coming weeks in the citrus belt .

The general manager of Fundecitrus, Juliano Ayres, will be the moderator, with a presentation by journalist Alessandra Kuba.

Fundecitrus researcher Geraldo Silva Jr will give a presentation on disease control and the guests to discuss the subject are Instituto Biológico researcher Eduardo Feichtenberger, citrus grower and GCONCI consultant Maurício Mendes and Esalq-USP professor Lilian Amorim.

On August 5th, Fundecitrus promoted the event online Greening: 2020 incidence and control strategies, which had spectators from several Brazilian states, such as São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Goiás, Santa Catarina and Alagoas, and also from countries such as Argentina, Costa Rica, Chile, United States, Mexico and Uruguay.
