CADE allows sale of Seedcorp's controlling company to Bunge and Advanta
Document from the federal authority states that the operation "does not have the potential to cause harm to the competitive environment"
The latest survey by the National Supply Company (Conab) points to soybean and corn production in the 22/23 harvest that exceeds the previous one by double digits. This achievement is only possible when the farmer invests in quality solutions, which increase productivity, significantly reduce the impacts of pests and diseases and promote soil health. To present producers with a complete and efficient portfolio, the Sumitomo Chemical Experience takes place in Sorriso (MT), an action that presents how the company's solutions are effective in the application of crops with exchanges of ideas and on-site monitoring of new developments. It takes place between the 9th and 12th of January at the Proteplan Experimental Station.
The event is aimed at the agricultural community in the Sorriso region, one of the main grain producing municipalities in Brazil, which includes partner resellers, representatives of cooperatives, producers, teams of consultants, among others. “There will be seven moments, in the morning and afternoon, with lectures given by external researchers, in addition to the possibility for visitors to see Sumitomo Chemical’s solutions in practice, in the field”, he explains. José Renato Martines Peguin (in the photo below), Trade Marketing Manager at Sumitomo Chemical. Dividing the event into shifts generates greater interaction between participants and the presentation team.
Peguin explains that the Sumitomo Chemical Experience will cover the company's entire strategic portfolio for soybean and corn crops. “We will have several stations, from desiccation management to fungicide management,” he says.
The star of the event is Excalia Max, a fungicide against Asian rust and target spot, the most destructive soybean diseases. The product is systemic par excellence, contains the unprecedented Indiflin molecule and is quickly absorbed by the leaves, safely protecting the productive potential of the country's different soybean varieties.
Sumitomo Chemical's most efficient solutions will be demonstrated at stations for visitors. Starting with the herbicides Crucial, post-emergent and with a broad spectrum of control, and ZethaMaxx, pre-emergent with systemic action.
The station formed by the Seed Protection platform will also be present, which is made up of a complete portfolio of sustainable solutions for seed treatment, pest and disease control and increased grain productivity, such as the Maestro FS insecticide, Aveo nematicide, Inside FS insecticide and MycoApply EndoFuse and MycoApply EndoMaxx, solutions aimed at optimizing soil fertilization, promoting greater longevity, health and sustainability.
For the sustainable management of caterpillars there is a station with the biological insecticide XenTari and insecticide Abaday. There will also be an area for whitefly control, which involves Carnadine and Epingle products.
“We have a plot dedicated to the management of suckers, which will address the importance of the Legion product, especially against stink bugs that attack corn and soybeans”, explains the Trade Marketing manager.
Finally, the Sumitomo Chemical Experience will present a station with the SOJA+ Program, in which two plant growth regulators are used: MaxCel, which induces the formation of more lateral stems for a better productive architecture of the plant, and ProGibb, which reduces significantly abort flowers and pods, resulting in more grains and greater productivity.
