Fendt delivered the first RENAGRO (Official Registration of Tractors and Agricultural Machines) - COAGCO0001 -, from the ID Agro System. The Ministry of Agriculture program ceremony was attended by the administrative coordinator of the CNA Institute, Carlos Frederico Dias Ribeiro; the director of Government Affairs for South America, Ana Helena Andrade; and Fendt South America Sales Director, José Galli.

The first harvester to be registered with ID-Agro is the Fendt IDEAL class 9, sold by the Impact dealership network and owned by Jacob Meeuwis Breure, who grows soybeans and corn in Sidrolândia (MS).

“I am grateful and flattered to participate in this moment. This is an important instrument, especially for a machine with high added value. Now we have a document, in addition to the invoice, to identify the product and prevent theft”, says the producer.

At the end of March this year, the Federal Government approved Renagro, which comes into force from October this year. It is the equivalent of the CRLV (Vehicle Registration and Licensing Certificate) for other motor vehicles, but at no cost to the owner. The ID Agro System is linked to the police authorities of each State and will help support the rights and safety of farmers.

Registration is optional, but membership guarantees ownership of the asset, security in selling the vehicle, can facilitate financing processes and contributes to traceability and inspection operations to prevent theft and theft. Furthermore, registration also offers peace of mind to producers when using machines permitted to travel on public roads.

“ID Agro is very advantageous to rural producers. Compatible with the technological level of the machines, it is a modern instrument for registering the ownership of tractors and harvesters in a simple and free way, done through an application”, says Ana Helena.

“The initiative will also benefit the farmer, by providing greater traceability, preventing theft and will certainly contribute to reducing the cost of insurance. It is an important improvement in the machinery business environment, including simplifying the sale of used vehicles.”

AGCO, owner of Fendt, trained employees from more than 200 dealerships in Brazil so that they could guide farmers in joining ID Agro when purchasing a new machine.
