Field work to estimate the 2021/22 orange harvest is in the final phase

The final phase of field work to estimate the 2021/22 orange harvest has begun: the felling of trees belonging to plots drawn from properties in the citrus belt of São Paulo and Triângulo/Southwest Mineiro. The objective is to estimate the average number of fruits produced per tree.

After this stage, the harvested fruits will be counted and weighed in a laboratory located in Araraquara (SP).
