Technicians in the field collect data for the 12th Grain Harvest Survey

Monthly monitoring of the national harvest checks variables such as area, productivity, crop development and harvest evolution

With the aim of collecting information to compose the 12th Survey of the 2021/22 Grain Harvest, the National Supply Company (Conab) resumed on Monday (22/08) the monthly monitoring of the national harvest, checking variables such as area, productivity, crop development and harvest evolution.

The work continues until the 27th of this month and will involve technicians in the field in the states of Alagoas, Bahia, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraíba, Piauí, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Sergipe and Tocantins.

The Company also collects remote data through electronic contact or telephone calls, in the following states: Roraima, Rondônia, Acre, Amazonas, Pará, Maranhão, Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Pernambuco, Mato Grosso, Distrito Federal, Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Paraná.

Data collection is carried out with several partner institutions, including municipal class entities (unions), small and large producers, agricultural cooperatives, input resellers and rural assistance and planning companies.

The results of the survey for the 12th Grain Harvest Survey 2021/22 will be published on the Company's website, on September 8th, with information from all participating states.
