Fiagril, a reference company in the supply of agricultural inputs and technical assistance to rural producers, announced its new Director of Sales and Marketing, who arrives to coordinate actions aimed at the company's expansion plan, which in 2023 expanded beyond Mato Grosso and Tocantins, states where it already operates, opening branches in Pará and Rondônia.
Diego Arruda (in the photo) brings in his professional background training in Agronomy from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), Marketing from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and Institute of Education and Research (Insper), both institutions in São Paulo. With a wealth of experience covering important leadership roles in sales, marketing, digital and experience at MDM, Bayer, UPL and Agrofy.
Arruda's arrival occurs at an important moment for Fiagril's business, with a focus on profitability, sustainable growth, digitalization and continuity of the expansion plan. The company remains focused on the strategy of further strengthening its relationships with producers, seeking to contribute with integrated solutions that increase profitability per hectare.
The new Sales and Marketing director comments on his expectations for the new challenge. "It is always motivating to face new challenges, which is very natural for me. I arrive at Fiagril excited to face adversity and promote the growth of the company, which is already significant on a national scale. It is an honor to be able to collaborate with this agribusiness giant" .
"There is an estimate that sales of fertilizers, pesticides and seeds in the country generate at least US$30 billion per year, which is equivalent to more than R$150 billion. These data show the market that we can still conquer and where we will work to expand our business", emphasizes Arruda.
For Fiagril's CEO, Henrique Mazzardo, incorporating talents like Diego Arruda's is essential for the company's expansion. "We always look for professionals who have the same vision as ours, which is to transform lives by connecting sustainable production with the world. With each employee we hire we have the opportunity not only to share our experiences, but also to learn from the know-how how brought", says Mazzardo.
