Corteva reports release of Enlist herbicide in US counties

Fertilizer deliveries to the Brazilian market in September 2023 were 4,89 million tons, indicating an increase of 16,7% compared to the same month in 2022, when 4,19 million tons were recorded. From January to September, there were 33,50 million tons, an increase of 11,3% compared to 30,10 million tons in the same period last year. Data are from the National Association for Fertilizer Diffusion (Anda).
The State of Mato Grosso, leader in deliveries to the market, concentrates the largest volume from January to September (23,1%), reaching 7,72 million tons. They follow: Paraná (3,88 million), Goiás (3,66 million), Rio Grande do Sul (3,56 million), São Paulo (3,15 million) and Minas Gerais (3,02 million).
According to Anda, national production of intermediate fertilizers ended September 2023 with 619 thousand tons, representing growth of 9,7%, compared to the same month in 2022. In the nine months of 2023, there were 4,99 million tons, meaning a reduction of 11,3% compared to the same period last year, when 5,62 million tons were produced.
Imports of intermediate fertilizers reached 3,96 million tons in September, an increase of 25,3% compared to the same month last year. Over the nine months, the total was 27,57 million tons, meaning an increase of 0,1% compared to the same period in 2022, when 27,55 million tons were imported.
At the port of Paranaguá, the main gateway for fertilizers, 6,76 million tons entered, a reduction of 11,9% compared to 2022, when 7,67 million tons were unloaded. The terminal represented 24,5% of total imports
